Frequently Asked Questions:

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is simply 'focused attention'. We do it all the time - reading a book, driving a car or bike...

What is the difference between stage hypnosis and clinical hypnotherapy?

Stage hypnosis is entertainment. People volunteer, are highly suggestible, and agree to play along for a performance, as long as it fits with their will, beliefs and value system.

Clinical hypnotherapy is a therapeutic process. You remain aware, in control, and focused. It’s used to support wellbeing, change habits, and calm the nervous system. It is impossible do you anything against your will, beliefs and value system.

Will I have to talk or share personal details in front of others?

No. You’re here to relax and experience some mindset tools.

How does this actually create change in the brain?

Change happens through new neural connections.

Habits like drinking are stored as automatic pathways in the brain — the brain learns that alcohol reduces stress or signals reward. Through mindset work, relaxation, and hypnosis, we help the brain form new pathways that associate calm, reward, and safety without alcohol.

What if I slip up during Dry January?

Slips are part of learning, not failure. This programme focuses on understanding what happened and gently resetting - without shame or judgement.

Is this medical treatment or therapy?

This programme provides therapeutic support and wellbeing tools, but it doesn’t replace medical care. If you have medical concerns, always consult your GP.

How does this help with cravings and stress?

Cravings often come from a stressed nervous system. As the system settles, the urge to reach for alcohol usually reduces too.

Can't wait to see you...
